Job summary

Harbour Energy invites applications for an experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer to lead subsurface evaluation and decision support for non-operated assets in Aberdeen. The role includes developing production forecasts, risk assessment, and providing independent assurance of operator evaluations.

The position requires MSc in reservoir engineering with deep knowledge of field development, simulation, and uncertainty analysis.

Qualifications

• Must have MSc in reservoir engineering or related field.
• Experience delivering complex reservoir engineering projects with uncertainty.
• Ability to influence decisions across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide subsurface decision support for non-operated assets and frame key decisions.
• Provide technical assurance and challenge operator evaluations.
• Develop and maintain client’s technical position through integrated subsurface evaluation.
• Build alignment between client, operators and co-venturers to maximise value.
• Define and deliver reservoir engineering work programs across assets.
• Mentor junior staff and guide subsurface team priorities.
• Interface with specialists and contractors on reservoir projects.
• Prepare input for internal and external business approvals and technical meetings.
