Job summary

Chubb in London is seeking a qualified actuary to lead quarterly reserving analyses across lines of business, including collaboration with Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial and Finance teams.

The role emphasizes strong ownership, relationship management with business partners, and active involvement in pricing planning and capital modelling activities. A team-based, ethical approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified actuary with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience.
• Several years’ reserving experience in non-life insurance, with knowledge of a range of reserving methodologies and lines of business.
• High integrity and work ethic, team oriented and able to support more junior members of the team.

Responsibilities

• Manage quarterly reserve reviews for specified lines with US GAAP reporting focus.
• Present reserve analyses to management and committees.
• Support solvency provisions analysis and annual reserve risk parameterisation.
• Coordinate with Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial and Finance partners.
• Coach reserving analysts and promote Chubb values.
