Job summary

Eames Consulting in London is seeking a highly experienced actuary to lead reserving across multiple lines of business. You will drive quarterly and annual analyses, review reserve adequacy, and present findings to senior management.

The role requires FIA/FCAS or equivalent, strong modelling and communication skills, and a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement, with collaboration across underwriting, pricing and finance to improve portfolio profitability.

Requirements

• Qualified Actuary (FIA, FCAS, ACAS/CAS, or equivalent).
• Significant prior Reserving experience.
• Exposure to pricing, portfolio analytics, or underwriting support activities desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience working with actuarial modelling and data analysis tools.
• Commercial mindset and a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement.
