University of Oxford seeks a Senior Research Programme Manager to lead the SOUNDCHEM research programme within the Physical Acoustics Group, Department of Engineering Science.
The role oversees programme delivery, finances, reporting, governance, meetings, industrial engagement, communications and future funding activities, in a fixed-term post through 30 September 2032.
We are seeking a full-time Senior Research Programme Manager to join Professor James Kwan’s Physical Acoustics Group at the Department of Engineering Science (Institute of Advanced Technology, Begbroke Science Park). The post is funded by the EPSRC SOUNDCHEM Programme Grant and associated SonoNetZero Open Fellowship. It is a fixed-term position until 30 September 2032.
You will lead the operational management of the SOUNDCHEM research programme and provide coordinated support for the closely aligned SonoNetZero fellowship. You will primarily oversee programme delivery, finances, reporting, governance, meetings, industrial engagement, communications, and future funding activities.
You should possess a degree in a relevant scientific discipline (or equivalent experience), experience of research programme or project management, excellent organisational, communication and financial management skills, and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
