Senior Researcher – Patient-Centred Outcomes (COA / PRO)
Hybrid / Flexible / Remote Working Options - To £60k DOE + Benefits
Are you working in Patient-Centred Outcomes, Clinical Outcome Assessments or Patient-Reported Outcomes and perhaps looking for a fresh challenge?
We’re supporting a well-established, global healthcare outcomes consultancy looking to strengthen its Patient-Centred Outcomes research team with an experienced Senior Researcher. It's an opportunity to work across a broad client portfolio and varied clinical research programmes.
The work will be focused on understanding and measuring the patient perspective and supporting the selection, development, validation and implementation of Clinical Outcome Assessments used within clinical development.
You’ll take ownership of projects from planning through to delivery, acting as a key client contact and leading multidisciplinary project teams. Projects can include qualitative patient and caregiver research, COA/PRO development and validation, measurement strategy, clinical trial research and patient preference work.
The key requirement is relevant experience within COA/PRO, patient-centred outcomes or a closely related healthcare research discipline.
Experience of psychometric validation, regulatory interactions, patient preference research or quantitative methods would be advantageous, but strong qualitative COA experience is particularly valuable.
We’re also interested in speaking with researchers from academia or adjacent healthcare research environments where there is strong, directly transferable patient research and project leadership experience.
One of the biggest attractions is the breadth of work. The team works with a wide range of pharmaceutical clients and across highly varied projects, giving researchers considerable scope to broaden their experience rather than becoming restricted to a narrow area.
There is also a strong emphasis on development and progression, with the opportunity to build broader COA expertise, develop client-facing responsibilities and progress into more senior consulting and leadership positions.
The team is sizeable and well established, while retaining a collaborative research-focused culture.
The standard model is around two days per week in the office, although there may be some flexibility depending on individual circumstances and experience. Remote could be an option for the right candidate. They have offices in the North and South of England.
Base salaries are competitive and up to £60k dependent on experience and can be discussed during our initial conversation. In addition there is a 10% performance-related bonus and wider benefits including pension, healthcare and gym membership.
If you have experience in COA, PRO, patient-centred outcomes, qualitative patient research or closely related outcomes research and would be interested in hearing more,
