Job summary

Inizio Ignite, Putnam is hiring a Health Economist and Outcomes Researcher Senior Analyst to lead PRO-focused projects. You will conduct health valuation, utility measurement, and PRO development, supporting both quantitative and qualitative HEOR studies.

The role emphasizes patient perspectives, psychometric validation, and collaboration within a HEOR team. Hybrid working in London, Newcastle, or Ireland is offered.

Qualifications

• Educational degree such as MSc in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Medical Sciences, Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of PRO and preference elicitation experience.
• Knowledge of health economics methods for PRO analysis and utility measurement.
• Knowledge of survey development and psychometric validation.
• Understanding of statistical methods and data interpretation.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Stata or R.

Position Overview

We are seeking to hire an ambitious Health Economist and Outcomes Researcher to join our growing and highly talented Health Economics team HEOR team as a Senior Analyst, focusing on Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) and Preference Elicitation Studies. You will contribute to groundbreaking projects that influence healthcare decision-making, advancing the understanding of patient perspectives and preferences to enhance value-driven healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

To support a range of quantitative and qualitative and health economics and outcomes research projects, including health valuation and utility measurement, analysis of outcomes data and development of patient-reported outcome measures for our valued clients.

The focus of the role is on patient-reported outcome measurement and preference elicitation research.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Functional technical expertise
• Educational degree (such as MSc) in in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Medical Sciences, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience, with a strong track record in PRO and preference elicitation studies.
• Knowledge of health economics and methodologies for the analysis of patient-reported outcomes (e.g., utility measurement, analysis and development of patient reported outcome measures)
• Knowledge of methodologies for utility measurement, survey development, and psychometric validation.
• Understanding of statistical analysis, econometrics, and data interpretation.
• Project management skills
• Good knowledge of statistical software packages (e.g., Stata, R)
• Fluency in English
• Excellent MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
• Communication skills
• Ability to clearly communicate technical issues
