An established industry player is seeking a Senior Research Fellow to enhance their Research Support Service. This role focuses on advising researchers from various sectors on funding applications, particularly in the areas of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion. The ideal candidate will possess specialist EDI skills and a strong research background in primary care or mental health. About the role
The post holder will advise researchers and support the delivery of the strategic aims of the NIHR RSS, focusing on Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI). They will be the first point of contact within the Research Support Service team for researchers from NHS, public health, social care, and Higher Education Institutions preparing applications for national peer-reviewed funding in health and social care research. They will provide general advice on applications and specific guidance on EDI matters.
About you
The candidate should possess EDI specialist skills and work closely with the EDI Strategic Lead, the Director, and partner organisations. They should hold a PhD or have up to 4 years of research experience in primary care and/or mental health, with an aim to develop their research portfolio beyond their RSS role.
