Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Research Technology & Cloud Solutions Architect to partner with research teams to translate needs into secure, scalable Oracle-based solutions. You will advise on cloud adoption, analytics platforms, automation and applied AI, while aligning with enterprise standards.

You will collaborate with Oracle Health Cloud Engineering, IT, security and governance to ensure architectures are compliant and implementable. Strong communication and cross-team influence are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of cloud architecture and solution architecture experience.
• Experience designing and delivering cloud-based solutions.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical designs.
• Experience with databases, analytics platforms, dashboards, data workflows, or cloud migration.
• Knowledge of security, IAM and RBAC concepts.
• Understanding of enterprise security, privacy, governance and data-management requirements.
• Familiarity with research, analytics, reporting, data science or applied AI environments.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, PL/SQL, SAS or SPSS.
• Strong written, verbal and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience across research, business, engineering, security and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Design technical solutions for research, analytics, data science and operational use cases.
• Translate business requirements into architectures, implementation plans and technical docs.
• Design and implement solutions using OCI services such as Autonomous DB, APEX, Analytics Cloud and OCI Data Science.
• Support migration and modernization of legacy applications and environments.
• Assess feasibility, effort, cost, security and risk for implementations.
• Guide research teams on cloud adoption, automation and AI-enabled solutions.
• Coordinate provisioning, networking, IAM, architecture reviews and release dependencies.
• Ensure compliance with Oracle security, privacy and governance requirements.
• Support ongoing operation and troubleshooting of platforms.
• Evaluate third-party tools for replacement or retirement.
