Job summary

Oracle is hiring a Software Developer 4 to design, build, and operate AI and cloud platform capabilities that support enterprise customer engagement. You will partner with product management, customer engineering, and OCI teams to translate requirements into secure, scalable software.

You’ll contribute to architecture, implement cloud-native services, and build observable, reliable systems while balancing immediate delivery with long-term platform quality.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software-development experience building and operating production services or platform capabilities.
• Strong programming experience in Java, Go, Python, C++, or C#.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud-native apps, or large-scale data processing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate cloud-native services and platform components for AI, data, and enterprise-cloud use cases.
• Work closely with product management and customer stakeholders to understand requirements, validate assumptions, and rapidly iterate on customer-facing capabilities.
• Build customer-focused functionality that can be generalized into reusable, configurable OCI platform services.
• Develop scalable distributed systems, APIs, data pipelines, service integrations, and automation.
• Contribute to architecture and design decisions for reliability, performance, availability, security, and operational readiness.
