Usdaw is recruiting a Senior Research Administrator for its Head Office in Salford. The role is fully office based, 34 hours per week, with generous holiday, parking, and additional benefits.

The successful candidate will support the Tesco National Officers and Tesco Support Team, handling confidential information with tact and discretion while coordinating priorities and meeting deadlines. Salary starts at £34,399 and rises to £41,199 after four years of service.

Senior Research Administrator - Head Office - Ref 970

Salary:£34,399 pa rising to £41,199 pa after 4 years' service.

The Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers is one of the UK's largest trade unions.

A vacancy exists for a Senior Research Administrator based at the Union’s Head Office. Please note that this position is fully office based.

The What we Offer:

• 34 hours week

The principal duties are: To provide full secretarial and administrative support to the Tesco National Officers and Tesco Support Team.

The successful applicant will possess: knowledge of the Trade Union Movement; the ability to communicate effectively with officials, staff, members and employers; the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and have well-developed planning and organisational skills; actively listens to and respects the views and feelings of others and works harmoniously with individual colleagues and small teams; has tact, initiative and discretion when handling personal and sensitive information; has an awareness of the importance of providing and effective service to members and external agencies.
