Job summary

Fawkes & Reece are working with a Cardiff-based client in the renewable energy sector, recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team.

The role oversees solar PV, battery storage, EV charging and electrical installations across Wales and England, from planning to handover. Initially day-rate, moving to a permanent salary of 50,000–60,000 per annum, with travel to project sites from a Cardiff office.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction, electrical, M&E, engineering or renewable energy.
• Experience managing projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of project programmes, budgets, resources and delivery.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Good knowledge of health & safety and construction standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Wales and England.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from planning to completion, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and budget compliance.
• Coordinate renewable energy and electrical installations incl. PV, BESS, EV charging.
• Manage subcontractors, engineers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and commercial performance.
• Support commissioning, handover and close-out activities.
• Travel to project sites across Wales and England.
