Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineer (RME) Technician to lead maintenance teams at an operational site in Tilbury, UK. The role focuses on safety, performance monitoring, and timely maintenance of equipment across fulfilment operations.

You will oversee shift teams, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with management on system upgrades and process standardisation across EU facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams as a mentor or technical lead.
• Advanced English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience in automation or complex MHE environments.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate best practice for equipment safety and monitor compliance.
• Track equipment performance and schedule maintenance as needed.
• Supervise technicians on shift and act as first point of contact for RME engineers.
• Resolve equipment issues to reduce downtime and keep operations running.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and standardise processes across EU network.
