Senior Relationship Manager – Development Finance (South-East)

Build Your Success in Development Finance with a High-Growth Lender

If you're a Development Finance specialist looking for autonomy, high earnings, and the opportunity to make a real impact, this is your chance. This lender has just secured a major new funding line, giving you complete control over your deals and the ability to shape the customer journey.

With a strong market presence and an existing and established bridging product range and network, they are now in need of a Senior Relationship Manager to spearhead their development finance offering across the South-East to support their growing development product offering

About the Role

This is not just another Relationship Manager role—it’s a business-building opportunity. You’ll be in the field, meeting developers, structuring deals, and driving growth in an unrestricted South-East territory. You won’t just be reliant on brokers; you’ll develop direct relationships with property developers, leveraging your market expertise to shape and fund projects in the £5m sweet spot.

With a commission structure that sees top BDMs earning five figures per quarter, your earnings potential is £150k - £200k OTE—if you have the drive and expertise to make deals happen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and structure development finance deals directly with property developers.
  • Conduct site visits, assess project viability, and create tailored funding solutions.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with developers and intermediaries.
  • Manage the end-to-end lending process, from structuring deals to completion.
  • Stay ahead of the market, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Basic salary up to £90k (negotiable based on experience).
  • Full autonomy to develop your own pipeline.
  • New funding lines and expansion opportunities in a high-growth environment.
  • Supportive, family-run business with a focus on the customer journey.

  • A track record of direct relationships with developers (not just broker-led business).
  • Strong knowledge of the South-East property market.
  • A background in development lending, property, or quantity surveying with a move into finance.
