Full Job Description

LOCATION: London

Purpose:

1. Managing a diverse portfolio of reinsurance claims across multiple lines including motor, property & casualty, life, and credit & surety.
2. Liaising with brokers and clients, handling complex queries and disputes.
3. Conducting file reviews, audits (including travel), and collaborating with legal teams to provide insights and strategic claims updates.
4. Attending settlement meetings, legal conferences, and market forums.

What we're looking for:

1. Minimum 3 years of reinsurance claims handling experience (UK Motor experience is essential).
2. Confident communicator with strong analytical and commercial judgment.
3. Comfortable with external-facing responsibilities like client audits and relationship management.
4. Legal or insurance qualifications (Cert CII / DIP CII / ACII / Solicitor / ILEX) are advantageous.
5. German language skills are a plus but not required.
