Job summary

Exponent, a premier engineering and scientific consulting firm, seeks a Regulatory Managing Scientist to lead regulatory submissions for plant protection products in Europe. The role may be based in UK offices (Harrogate, Nottingham, Edinburgh, London) or Basel/Mannheim, or remotely.

You will coordinate dossiers, advise clients, and manage relationships with EFSA, the Commission, and Member States, building an established client network while upholding Exponent's reputation for impartial

Qualifications

• BSc or higher in chemistry, biology, agricultural science or closely related field.
• Proven track record in regulatory affairs for plant protection products at EU and MS level.
• Excellent communication skills including clear explanation of regulatory issues.

Responsibilities

• Providing strategic advice to clients and colleagues.
• Leading multi-disciplinary projects and coordinating dossiers for active substances and products.
• Maintaining relationships with clients and regulatory authorities to ensure repeat business.
• Negotiating with EFSA, the Commission and Member States on behalf of clients.
• Developing an established client network and managing client relationships.
