Job summary

Exponent seeks a Regulatory Managing Scientist to lead project teams on regulatory submissions for plant protection products across Europe. The role may be based in UK offices (Harrogate, Nottingham, Edinburgh, London) or Basel, Mannheim, or Dublin, with option for remote work.

You will provide strategic regulatory advice, coordinate dossiers, and maintain relationships with clients and authorities, representing Exponent in negotiations with EFSA and Member States.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in regulatory affairs for plant protection products at EU and MS level.
• Excellent communication skills enabling complex regulatory issues to be explained clearly.
• Strong interpersonal skills and client relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic regulatory advice to clients and colleagues.
• Lead multi-disciplinary projects, coordinating dossiers for active substances and products.
• Maintain relationships with clients and regulatory authorities to secure repeat business.
• Negotiate with EFSA, the Commission and Member States on behalf of clients.
