Role Overview

The Senior Data and Regulatory Analyst is responsible for data management and analysis supporting clients’ and prospects’ energy management needs. The analyst provides administrative support to energy services staff, primarily focusing on sales and service to clients across various projects.

The role requires keeping abreast of changes in regulated charges, taxes, and levies in the UK, and updating Kinect’s systems and staff accordingly. Working with the Operations team, the analyst will also conduct tenders, provide budgets, and manage queries for customers, mainly in the UK but also across key countries within EMEA.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure data is updated in Kinect systems promptly.
• Produce quarterly reports for the UK.
• Explain regulated charges and changes to internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver tenders, budgets, and resolve queries within agreed timescales.
• Collaborate with the team to meet other key deliverables.

Person Specification

• Ideally 2-3 years of experience in the energy industry, with understanding of UK regulated charges. Experience with suppliers or industry participants like DNOs or ESOs is preferred.
• A degree with a mathematical background may be beneficial but is not essential.
• Knowledge of Python/VBA is advantageous.
• Ability to represent World Kinect within the energy industry across EMEA as part of a growing team.
• Knowledge of European languages is a plus.
