Job description

Senior Commissioner - SEND Alternative Provision

£400 - £450 per day

Part-time - 3 days per week

Remote working may be considered

6 months initially - likely to be extended

What we need from you:

To lead the design, development, and delivery of service workstreams for families, children, and young people that secure positive outcomes and ensure value for money.

The workstreams will be driven by local priorities and national policy reforms through the DfE SEND and Alternative Provision Change Programme, specifically:

• Review Universal banding system
• Maintain special school place planning

Must Have:

• Leadership experience in sectors with positive outcomes for children, young people, and families with SEND
• Experience working across organizational boundaries and influencing within multi-agency settings to improve outcomes
