About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Senior Nurse to join a fantastic private hospital in Tunbridge Wells. The hospital boasts excellent facilities including 2 operating theatres, a sterile services department, endoscopy suite, and a fully equipped diagnostic and imaging department. The hospital offers outpatient and physiotherapy services six days a week. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Nurse to join a friendly and dedicated surgical ward team, committed to high-quality care and patient-centered service.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Manage the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Display effective management of clinical teams in a safe and caring environment
• Support the Ward Manager and Head of Clinical Services in healthcare team management
• Lead the development of knowledge, ideas, and work practices
• Develop and improve services

Who we’re looking for:

• Be NMC registered with no restrictions or conditions on your pin
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
• Currently working in a Band 5 position
• Experience as a sister/senior nurse in a UK surgical unit
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in an acute setting
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
