Job Description:
- Work closely with the management team to develop, audit, and improve the quality of the service.
- Act up in the absence of the ward manager.
- Produce outstanding written reports based on nursing assessments and observations.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the service through participation in audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge and promote nursing practice.
- Ensure that individual care plans are complete and maintained collaboratively with residents, relatives, and other healthcare professionals, in accordance with NMC guidelines.
- Administer prescribed medicines following healthcare procedures and guidelines from the Healthcare Commission.

The Successful Candidate:
- Current and valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Mental Health/Learning Disability Nurse.
- Previous experience in Acquired Brain Injury is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn and adapt is crucial.
- Openness and flexibility to thrive in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, patients, and support networks.
- Preparedness to undertake physical care needs, demonstrating a hands-on approach to nursing care.
- Advocate for patient rights and well-being, committed to patient-centered care and ensuring patients' voices are prioritized.
