Job Description:

Registered Nurse (RMN / RNLD)CAMHS PICU

Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours available – you can choose depending on your preference.

Shifts: Nights only can be considered, though ideally you would work mixed shifts on a rotational basis. Shorter shifts are 0700 - 1500 or 1300 – 2100, 5 days per week with a 30 min break. Longer shifts are 0700 – 2100 with unpaid breaks, or nights 0830 – 0730 with 1 hour unpaid break.

Appoint Healthcare partners with a leading hospital supporting children and adolescents with mental health needs. We are seeking experienced Mental Health Nurses (RMN) or Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD), full or part-time, to join their CAMHS PICU in South East London as senior staff nurses (Band 6).

As a Registered Mental Health or Learning Disabilities nurse, you will collaborate with a full MDT focusing on delivering positive outcomes for patients and their families. Patients may have complex needs and behaviors that challenge. The hospital is easily accessible from South East London with free onsite parking.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Nursing Qualification (RMN or RNLD)
  • Valid NMC Registration with no restrictions
  • Eligibility to Live and Work in the UK (British Passport Holder or Biometric Card)
  • Experience within a CAMHS or PICU service
  • High self-motivation and flexible approach
  • Positive attitude, caring and compassionate nature
  • Commitment to high-quality care, values, and evidence-based practice
