Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Core Operations Reference Data Senior Associate in London to ensure data accuracy across securities, issuers, ratings and analytics. You’ll manage critical reference data, resolve data challenges with stakeholders, and contribute to efficiency initiatives within a dynamic investment environment.

The role requires a finance-related degree and 2+ years in financial markets, with strong Excel and data tools proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or relevant field.
• 2+ years' experience in securities, mutual funds, financial markets and investment products.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel; Power BI or similar tools a plus.
• Experience with Aladdin Security Master, Bloomberg or other EDMS platforms preferred.
• Able to work in ambiguity, drive process improvements and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, accuracy and reliability of reference data across domains (securities, issuers, ratings, classifications, analytics).
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to resolve data challenges and improve efficiency.
• Support data governance initiatives and scalability of data workflows.
