Job summary

Delta Capita is seeking an experienced Senior Data Consultant to support a major reference data and data quality transformation for a leading Investment Bank. You will work at the intersection of business, data and technology to identify, analyse and remediate data issues across Front Office and Capital Markets, with a strong emphasis on governance and remediation.

The role requires hands-on SQL, data lifecycle knowledge and stakeholder management, operating in a hybrid London environment.

Qualifications

• Strong data analysis and governance experience in financial services.
• Experience with reference data, data quality and remediation initiatives.
• Hands-on SQL to interrogate large datasets and identify data anomalies.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyse client, counterparty and reference data issues across asset classes.
• Perform root cause analysis across data, process, technology, control and governance layers.
• Use SQL to interrogate data and validate remediation activities.
• Map data lineage, data flows and ownership across systems.
• Document data quality issues, business impacts and remediation recommendations.
• Support design and implementation of data quality frameworks and governance processes.
• Facilitate workshops with business, operations, technology and data stakeholders.
• Contribute to data initiatives including Golden Source, Reference Data and MDM.
• Create data dictionaries, glossaries, and governance documentation.
• Support programme governance with status updates and remediation reporting.
