Opportunity in Guildford:

An opportunity has arisen to introduce a new Senior Consultant to our Guildford office, established since 1989 with a solid reputation and client base. This role suits an experienced trades and labour consultant or someone with existing experience in freelance recruitment sectors.

The Job Role and Desk:

The current trades and labour team includes 3 experienced consultants and a Resourcer, supported by a company Director. We seek an experienced Senior Consultant to develop our local presence, providing construction freelance contractors. This hands-on role involves developing a warm desk and collaborating with the sales manager and existing trades team.

This is an exciting challenge with complete exclusivity on this desk, supported by a successful trades team and numerous existing PSLs in the area.

As the office is well established, the focus is on developing the sector rather than building from scratch. ITS is a key PSL supplier for developers and contractors in Guildford and Surrey.

Candidate Profile:

• Develop and maintain relationships, attract new business.
• Work with the local team to grow sales in the freelance construction sector.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Be confident in scheduling and time management.
• Ideally have an established business network in construction, but candidates from other sectors with a proven track record will be considered.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

The role is suited to someone with trades, labour, white-collar, or construction-related recruitment experience, ideally a Senior Consultant or team leader seeking progression or a new challenge. Candidates from other disciplines with the right attitude and aptitude are also welcome.

Training and Progression:

We offer training from specific courses to ongoing distance learning with the REC. ITS invests in staff development and is creating a new internal training program. Support will be provided to develop growth strategies, with incentives to maximize potential. Benefits include:
