Senior Recruitment Consultant / Principal Consultant – M&E Division

Skilled Careers is looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant or Principal Consultant to join our high-performing M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) division as an additional team member. This is an exciting opportunity to take your recruitment career to the next level within a business that truly invests in its people, supports professional growth, and celebrates success. Experience within the M&E sector would be great, however we will consider applicants looking for a sector change!

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing and growing a warm desk within the M&E sector.
• Developing strong relationships with new and existing clients across the building services industry.
• Sourcing and engaging top-tier M&E professionals across a range of roles.
• Delivering end-to-end recruitment solutions with a consultative and strategic approach.
• Mentoring junior consultants and contributing to the team’s growth and performance.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a recruitment consultant – ideally within construction or M&E.
• A track record of billing success and building client relationships.
• Ambitious, self-motivated, and driven to exceed targets.
• Ability to map clients and candidates.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• A collaborative mindset – we’re a close-knit team that supports one another.
