Job summary

AMS is seeking a Recruiter or Senior Recruiter to join our Investment Banking client on a hybrid arrangement in Chester, onsite 3-4 days per week, on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on delivering end-to-end recruitment services, building relationships with hiring managers and improving direct-hire strategies.

You will collaborate with back-office teams to meet start dates and KPIs, mentor junior staff, and manage candidate relationships through the ATS, ensuring a high standard

Qualifications

  • Proven full-cycle recruitment experience.
  • Proven experience recruiting within Financial Services is ideal but not essential
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, partnering with hiring managers and HR teams.
  • Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle from attraction through to offer and onboarding.
  • Knowledge of graduate programmes, university engagement, and talent attraction strategies.
  • Ability to manage talent pools, recruitment campaigns, and multiple hiring priorities.
  • Experience using ATS systems and maintaining accurate recruitment data.

  • Contribute to the commercial success of the account through achievement of monthly and annual targets.
  • Accountable for delivering to target start dates.
  • Develop end-to-end recruitment campaign strategies to meet longer term client requirements.
  • Develop and support the sourcing strategy for each role/business unit and agree the strategy with hiring manager.
  • Work effectively with the sourcing and admin team to ensure a smooth client and candidate experience.
  • Mentor / guide members of the sourcing and admin team on best practice approaches.
  • Responsible for the management of candidate relationships and their satisfaction with the recruitment experience until start date.
  • Ensure changes to a candidate’s status are tracked on the ATS for accurate reporting.
  • Support the hiring manager with deciding which candidate to hire and broker the offer.

The Role

We are looking for a Recruiter or Senior Recruiter to join our Investment Banking Client onsite 3-4 days per week in Chester, supporting the Back Office function on a 12 month fixed term contract.

This is a key role that requires a responsive, strategic and client-facing individual who can support client hiring managers with filling their vacancies to target start dates, ensuring all quality thresholds and KPIs are met.

The role of the Recruiter is to develop and deliver excellent recruitment services to the client in line with agreed service levels. The Senior Recruiter is also responsible for building excellent relationships within the hiring manager community in order to identify opportunities for direct hiring and provide guidance to ensure a best practice approach to resourcing is adopted.

Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure the recruitment service is delivered, in line with contractual obligations and client service levels

  • Work effectively with the sourcing and admin team to ensure a smooth client and candidate experience
  • Mentor / guide members of the sourcing and admin team on best practice approaches, client culture and support them in achieving success in their roles
  • Responsible for the management of candidate relationships and their satisfaction with the recruitment experience until start date
  • Ensure that all changes to a candidate’s status are tracked on the ATS to enable accurate reporting
  • Support the hiring manager with deciding which candidate to hire and guide them in determining an appropriate offer. Close the candidate: broker the offer with the chosen candidate, manage objections and support the candidate during their notice period
Skills & Requirements
