Job summary

SP Energy Networks is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Real Time Systems in Edinburgh/Glasgow. You will lead projects from inception to deployment within the Advanced Energy Management System Department, coordinating budgets, schedules and technical direction for core services and substation technology.

Your expertise in ICT project delivery, risk and change control, and supplier management will shape implementation of regulatory initiatives and R&D under SIF, NIA and Innovation Rollout

Qualifications

Experience with Real-Time Control Systems and ADMS.
Budget responsibility up to £5m across ICT projects.
Strong stakeholder management and supplier engagement.

Responsibilities

Own projects from inception to deployment within the Advanced Energy Management System Department.
Manage budgets, schedules, risks and procurement activities.
Prepare PMO reports and investment dossiers for governance.
Coordinate third-party contracts and handovers to Delivery Teams.
Drive continuous improvement with retrospectives and lessons learned.
