Job summary

Burness Paull LLP seeks a Knowledge & Development Lawyer for our market‑leading English Real Estate team. This senior role shapes how legal knowledge is captured, shared and used across the practice to support high‑value real estate matters.

You will lead training across the team, keep lawyers informed of key legal and market developments, and create practical knowledge resources while promoting knowledge sharing and adopting new technology to enhance client service.

Qualifications

• First‑class knowledge of English commercial real estate law.
• At least 8 years’ post‑qualification experience.
• Strong understanding of legal practice and client perspective.
• Highly organized, proactive, able to work independently.
• Engaging communicator with confident group presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead training across the team to share knowledge and best practices.
• Keep lawyers informed of key legal and market developments.
• Provide guidance on complex queries from fee earners.
• Create and maintain practical knowledge resources and promote knowledge sharing.
• Explore new technology to enhance client service and keep the practice ahead.
