Zusammenfassung

CMS in the UK is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate (3+ PQE) to support planning on major energy, infrastructure and development projects in Scotland and beyond. You will lead with partners on DCOs, CPOs, planning applications and related matters.

The role offers exposure across Real Estate and Energy teams with a UK-wide remit, and scope to tailor focus to Scotland while developing client relationships and career progression in a dynamic, collaborative firm.

Qualifikationen

• Be a qualified solicitor with 3+ PQE and a strong planning background.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for energy, infrastructure consenting and/or development planning.
• Gained experience in a recognised planning team with DCO and/or CPO beneficial.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and a strong academic record.
• Ambition to succeed, business development and client relationship management.

Aufgaben

• Lead and support partners in planning to deliver major energy and infrastructure projects.
• Handle development consent orders (DCO), CPOs, planning apps and appeals, s36, marine licences and EIA/HRA.
• Work with colleagues across Real Estate and Energy teams on major projects and transactions.
• Contribute to client relationships and business development while meeting deadlines.
