Job summary
Austen Lloyd Limited is seeking a Senior Associate/Principal Associate in Real Estate Development to join its growing team. You will manage a diverse caseload of residential, commercial, and strategic land development matters for an impressive client base, combining high-level legal work with client relationship management.
The role offers flexible/hybrid working, strong progression opportunities, leadership of junior lawyers, and exposure to significant projects.
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor with Real Estate Development experience
- Solid track record handling residential and/or commercial development matters
- Excellent technical knowledge and commercial awareness
Responsibilities
- Advising on residential, commercial, mixed-use, and strategic land development schemes
- Managing high-value and complex development transactions from inception to completion
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of transactional and development documentation
- Conducting title investigations, due diligence exercises, lender reporting, and preparing certificates of title
- Managing key client relationships and delivering commercially focused legal advice
- Supporting financial and matter management, including WIP, billing, and client reporting
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
- Contributing to business development, networking, and marketing initiatives
