Job summary

Barclays is seeking an experienced UI Developer to join our CDD technology team. Based in Glasgow or Knutsford, you will design, develop and migrate features to the new CDD platform, collaborating with cross-functional squads to deliver UX-driven interfaces and automated workflows.

You will work with React.js, ES6+/TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and Micro Frontend patterns, while applying secure coding, unit testing and performance optimization in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with React.js, ES6+ and TypeScript in modern front-end development.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with back-end services.
• Proficient with Git and Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and migrate features to the new CDD platform within Group Economic Crime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional squads to deliver Mr UX driven interfaces and automated workflows.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and secure coding practices.
• Stay aligned with security and governance requirements across the software lifecycle.
• Contribute to performance optimization and accessibility standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement of engineering processes and tools.
