Job summary

Street Group is hiring a Mobile Developer (L5) in Manchester. You’ll own end-to-end features in our React Native app, working with TypeScript on iOS and Android, and operate in a hybrid setup with up to 4 days of remote work.

We value AI-native developers who can leverage Claude Code, maintain high quality for live apps, and contribute to product discussions with strong design sense. You’ll shape the mobile experience and influence monetisation strategies across the business.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience building production apps with React Native and TypeScript on iOS and Android.
• AI-native approach using tools like Claude Code and ability to explain AI outputs.
• Strong product and design sense with user-focused mindset.
• High-quality, well-tested work and responsibility for live app stability and releases.
• Comfort with independent work and proactive communication.
• Experience using analytics to measure features and inform next steps (bonus).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of significant features in the React Native app.
• Direct agent sessions to focus on user experience and decisions requiring judgement.
• Ensure a natural experience on iOS and Android for each platform.
• Look after the live app: monitoring, stability, and weekly releases on App Store and Google Play.
• Define success metrics before build and analyze post-release results with data.
• Be a regular voice in product discussions and turn ideas into solid first versions.
• Address tech debt and identify improvements alongside main features.
• Shape new mobile work across the business, including consumer monetisation and lettings.
