Job summary

Pathfinder is hiring a React Native Developer to own the mobile architecture and delivery for a data-driven sports betting platform. This fully remote role in the UK focuses on turning an existing prototype into a production-grade iOS and Android app.

You will lead architecture, tooling, performance, testing and release processes, collaborating closely with product, design and experienced engineers to ship reliable mobile experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial React Native and Expo experience.
• Experience with data-heavy apps and making data user-friendly.
• Took iOS and Android apps through the complete development lifecycle.
• Released production apps on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills.
• AI augmentation experience, ensuring quality code.
• Engineering judgement to assess a prototype and shape production-ready apps.
• Ability to lead mobile technically while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Become the team’s mobile expert and set how mobile development is done across the business.
• Own architecture, tooling, performance, testing and release processes for mobile apps.
• Collaborate with product, design and engineers to deliver a robust mobile platform.
• Mentor and pair with teammates to build mobile capability across the team.
