Job summary

Pathfinder Recruitment is seeking a Full Stack Developer (React Native & Expo) to turn an existing prototype into a production mobile app for iOS and Android while maintaining the existing data-rich platform.

You will be the mobile expert, defining architecture, tooling, performance, testing, and release processes, and collaborating with product, design, and engineers to ship a scalable mobile product.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial React Native and Expo experience.
• Experience with data-heavy apps and keeping UI fast and friendly.
• Led mobile apps through full development lifecycle for iOS and Android.
• Released production apps on Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Experience with AI augmentation to improve code quality.
• Ability to assess prototypes and shape production-ready apps.
• Willingness to lead technically while collaborating with peers.
• Swift or Kotlin if React Native not sufficient.
• Wide interest in software engineering beyond mobile.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture, tooling, performance, testing and release processes for mobile.
• Collaborate with product, design and engineers to deliver the app.
• Mentor and help the wider team build mobile capability through pairing and reviews.
• Balance prototype assessment with production-readiness decisions.
