Job summary

Hunter Bond is seeking a Senior Front End React Engineer to build sophisticated trading and analytics platforms used by top quantitative researchers and traders. You will work closely with quantitative researchers, traders and engineering teams to create high-performance, data-rich applications that enable real-time decision making in global markets.

You'll design and implement modern React apps with a focus on performance, scalability, and excellent user experience.

Qualifications

• Experience building React + TypeScript apps for data-rich interfaces.
• Experience with complex state management and scalable front-end architecture.
• Focus on performance optimisations and responsive UI.
• Experience consuming real-time APIs (WebSockets, GraphQL, REST).
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or STEM field.

Responsibilities

• Design and build modern React applications used by traders and researchers.
• Create visualisations for complex financial and market data.
• Develop high-performance front-end architectures capable of handling large volumes of real-time streaming data.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, platform teams, quants and PMs.
• Drive best practices across architecture, testing, performance and code quality.
• Influence product direction by working with end users in a collaborative environment.
• Shape the future of next-generation trading and research platforms.
