Job summary

Hunter Bond is seeking an exceptional C#/.NET engineer to join an elite quantitative commodities trading firm. You will build the core backend systems behind the trading and analytics platform.

These systems process massive datasets and real-time market data to support pricing and trading decisions across global commodities markets. You will work with traders, researchers and engineers, owning projects from architecture through to production in a high-performance, scalable backend environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years commercial experience with C#/.NET
• Solid CS fundamentals - degree ideal but not required
• Experience building large-scale, production-critical backend systems
• Interest in technically demanding systems in a high-impact environment

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve high-performance backend services using C#/.NET Core
• Design systems capable of processing massive datasets and high-throughput real-time data
• Solve challenging problems in performance, concurrency, distributed systems, and scalability
• Work directly with traders, researchers and engineers to translate complex requirements into robust solutions
• Own projects from architecture and design through to production
