Job summary

Bristol City Council is seeking a Senior Reablement Support Assistant to join the city-wide Reablement Service. You will supervise reablement support staff and manage care elements for service users, helping people regain independence at home.

The role requires experience in community care, ability to supervise, and a willingness to undertake NVQ/QCF Level 3 training if needed. A valid driving licence and readiness to travel within the city are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering care to vulnerable adults in the community.
• Ability to supervise and motivate staff and complete assessments.
• Willingness to undertake training to complete NVQ/QCF Level 3 if needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise reablement support assistants and manage the care element of service users' time with the service.
• Support people to leave hospital earlier and promote independence at home.
• Complete assessments and set/review goals with service users in their own homes.
