Job summary

YTL UK is seeking a Senior Rainwater Management Technician to identify and deliver rainwater separation opportunities across the sewerage network, aiming to reduce flooding and pollution risks. You will engage customers, developers and local authorities, guiding sustainable drainage and demonstrating the benefits of property-level separation.

Qualifications

• Experience in drainage, wastewater, or environmental services.
• Knowledge of SuDS and rainwater management principles.
• Ability to engage customers and stakeholders clearly.
• Experience using data to identify and prioritise improvements.
• Ability to assess risks and develop practical solutions.
• Collaborative approach across multiple teams.
• Strong organisational skills for multi-project management.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to site-visit.

Responsibilities

• Identify and deliver rainwater separation opportunities across the sewerage network.
• Engage with customers, developers, and local authorities on sustainable drainage.
• Provide expert guidance on rainwater separation benefits.
• Work with Operational, Planning, Engineering and Asset teams to maximise value.
• Conduct site inspections and assess drainage arrangements for improvements.
• Analyse sewer network data to support decision-making and prioritise interventions.
• Support projects from investigation through delivery and completion.
• Communicate progress and risks clearly to colleagues and stakeholders.
• Ensure activities comply with health, safety and wellbeing standards.
