Job summary

HS2 Ltd in London seeks a Senior Project Engineer – Old Oak Common to provide professional and technical support on project engineering within the Integrated Project Team, delivering assurance, configuration management and information exchange.

You will coordinate design, construction and commissioning, support NEC3 Supervisor duties and Principal Designer Representative tasks under CDM Regulations 2015, and promote best engineering practice.

Qualifications

• Identify complex problems and evaluate options.
• Synthesize information and make reasoned decisions.
• Support engineering teams across disciplines.
• Utilise digital engineering tools during design and construction.
• Manage interfaces to deliver station integration.
• Use data to inform suppliers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical assurance per HS2 requirements.
• Coordinate acceptance of design, construction and commissioning.
• Support NEC3 Supervisor duties.
• Support Principal Designer Representative duties under CDM 2015.
• Provide guidance on design solutions and best practices.
• Drive integrated system performance and risk mitigation.
• Manage interfaces with other contracts and railway systems.
• Communicate engineering issues and changes effectively.
• Identify and manage technical risks and assumptions.
