Job summary

OHUK, a leading UK MEP subcontractor, is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their team on a prestigious HS2 programme toward West London. The role focuses on delivering complex electrical systems across a high-profile rail project with strict safety standards.

You will manage electrical activities, coordinate with project teams and subcontractors, monitor health and safety on site, and support design, installation and commissioning to meet programme, budget and quality targets.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer within the MEP sector.
  • Strong knowledge of UK electrical services and infrastructure projects.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications and certifications.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS qualifications.
  • Experience on large-scale projects, preferably rail or heavy industrial.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee electrical project activities, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure smooth execution of electrical works.
  • Monitor compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards on site.
  • Support the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems across the project.
  • Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to site teams.
