Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Rail Systems Project Manager for a major HS2 rail systems project in West London. The role is hands-on, delivery-focused, and will navigate construction, testing, commissioning and entry into service with a focused project team.

You will provide NEC3 contract management, coordinate interfaces across multiple rail systems, and report on programme performance while supporting the Head of PMO.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Rail Systems Project Manager.
• Main contractor experience within the railway - essential.
• Strong NEC3/NEC contract management experience.
• Proven experience supporting railway infrastructure projects through construction and entry into service.
• Experience working across project controls, programme and contractual management.

Responsibilities

• Providing hands-on project management support through construction, testing, commissioning and entry into service.
• Supporting programme management, project controls and monthly reporting.
• Coordinating contractors and systems delivery teams.
• Managing project interfaces across multiple rail systems.
• Monitoring programme, risk, cost and project performance.
• Working closely with the Head of PMO and wider project team.
