AtkinsRéalis is seeking a senior Engineering Manager to lead railway systems and signalling teams on complex projects. The role reports to the Project Manager/Director with line reporting into the Engineering Management Practice, and serves as the Contractor’s Engineering Manager.

You will guide multi-disciplinary engineers, coordinate subcontractors, manage budgets, ensure safety, quality, and schedule objectives, and mentor engineers for professional growth across locations.

Formación

• Extensive UK railway project engineering experience.
• Chartered Engineer with leadership experience.
• Experience of undertaking CEM responsibilities on Network Rail infrastructure.
• Understanding of risk management, CDM and CSM.
• IRSE licences desirable; experience introducing new equipment/systems onto the rail network.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate the engineering teams on railway projects.
• Foster a high-performance culture through motivation and clear communication.
• Set the safety and engineering culture for the project.
• Coordinate between AtkinsRéalis, subcontractors and client on technical issues.
• Address and resolve scope cost changes and schedule impact with the Project Manager.
• Ensure achievement of safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives.
• Develop and coordinate engineering sub-contracts.
• Lead inter-disciplinary communication, activities and reviews.
• Actively manage the engineering budget.
• Develop project engineers through mentoring and leadership.
