Job summary

You will ensure technical consistency, contractual compliance, and robust integration from design through construction, collaborating with client teams, design partners, and internal stakeholders.

The role emphasizes RAM and system safety, with responsibilities spanning ICD maintenance, interface control, and program coordination on major UK developments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Chartered status is desirable.
• Experience in major multi-disciplinary rail projects.
• Demonstrated experience in design integration and interface coordination.
• Knowledge of RAM, system safety, interoperability and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all design interfaces between contractor systems and rail clients.
• Support the Interface Management Plan and integration processes across RAM and safety disciplines.
• Deliver processes for system safety, interoperability and security management.
• Lead system integration from design to construction phases.
• Maintain ICDs and interface control documents for railway designs.
• Coordinate with client, designers, and internal teams to resolve interfaces.
• Attend weekly meetings across UK sites and with cross-functional teams.
