Job summary

Fourblue in Manchester is seeking an experienced Rail Project Manager who blends electrical engineering know-how with a strong commercial focus to deliver rail projects. You will own projects from scope through delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction and profitable performance.

You will manage budgets, forecasts, and resources, lead project teams, and ensure delivery in line with HV and LV safety rules, while developing client relationships and pursuing new rail opportunities.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience managing rail projects.
HV/LV electrical engineering knowledge.
Electrical qualification NVQ Level 3 or higher.
IOSH and/or SMSTS Health & Safety for Managers.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of individual rail projects from scope to delivery and customer satisfaction.
Manage budgets, forecasts and commercial performance.
Define project scope and objectives with required resources.
Ensure delivery meets safety, quality and contractual standards (HV/LV rules).
Develop and manage relationships with existing and prospective rail clients.
Identify new rail opportunities, prepare quotations and progress to tender.
Lead and develop project teams and drive continuous improvement.
