Job summary

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure seeks an experienced Senior Planner for the Wixams rail project in Wixams, Bedfordshire. The role focuses on shaping construction strategies and delivering robust delivery plans as the design evolves.

Working with the Head of Planning and Wixams Planning Lead, you will develop methodologies, run scenario planning, and ensure the project team outputs the optimum delivery strategy while aligning with NEC contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Practical site experience translating into robust construction programmes.
• HND/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent; progress towards Chartered status.
• Experience in civil engineering construction environments with rail project exposure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and NEC contract administration.
• Ability to produce construction plans and methodologies from first principles and engage stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support the Planning Lead in developing and maintaining project programmes.
• Develop and refine construction and scenario plans as design progresses.
• Lead constructability reviews and planning activities across design stages.
• Collaborate with engineering, delivery and commercial teams for programme integration.
• Communicate planning strategies and programme requirements to project stakeholders.
• Support NEC contract administration from a planning perspective.
• Contribute to innovative solutions for complex construction challenges.
