Job summary

AECOM in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Rail Civils Design Engineer to join our transportation team. Based at the Glasgow office with hybrid work options, you will lead civil design across rail projects from feasibility to detailed design and interface with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will deliver a wide range of civils designs—from stations to depots and power upgrades—while ensuring quality and technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status targeted.
• Recognised engineering qualification or degree in engineering.
• Experience leading civil design and interfacing across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of civils designs across rail projects from feasibility to detailed design and lead multidisciplinary coordination.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise to the Civils design team throughout projects.
• Ensure quality and successful management of interfaces and project delivery.
