WSP is seeking a Rail Civil CAD Technician to join our Rail Civil Engineering team in the UK. You will contribute to producing 2D rail‑civils drawings, develop 2D/3D models and work within a CDE environment, supporting engineers and technicians across multiple projects in a collaborative, safety‑conscious culture.

You will mentor junior staff, work with ProjectWise, and help deliver accurate, compliant drawings to programme commitments while developing your career through mentoring and bid

Qualifications

• Proven ability to produce accurate 2D rail‑civils drawings to UK standards.
• Experience developing and checking 2D and 3D models for multidisciplinary rail projects.
• Familiar with applying CAD QA processes, CRA‑V practices and structured drawing checks.
• Able to work from survey data, topographical information and other discipline inputs
• Work through full CAD lifecycle (site data – model – drawing – QA).

Responsabilités

• Produce CAD deliverables using Bentley tools and ensure correct level of detail for each design stage.
• Structure CAD designs and ensure compliance with varying CAD standards.
• Manage data with Data Management Systems and ProjectWise.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design and integrate other designs into your own.
• Liaise with colleagues and project teams on drawing requirements and timescales.
• Provide CAD and Design support to the Project Engineering Team throughout the project.
• Ensure drawings are stored, issued and archived per company procedures.
• Record time spent for chargeable work and mentor junior staff in MicroStation usage.
