Job summary

The NHS is seeking a Senior Radiology Clinical Support Worker (Band 3) for Wrexham Maelor Hospital. This permanent role offers full-time and part-time hours, with 37.5 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday and regular evenings/weekends. Salary ranges £26,813 – £27,890 per annum, pro rata.

You will support radiology staff, assist patients, prepare areas, and help manage appointments and patient flow across the department. A compassionate approach and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Welsh language ability desirable.
• Face-to-face administrative assessment may be required at interview.
• Experience in Radiology or a clinical setting is welcome or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during radiology examinations.
• Prepare clinical areas and equipment.
• Manage appointments and patient flow.
• Update patient records and coordinate workflow.
