Job summary

Lyca Health in Orpington is seeking a Senior Radiographer – Cross Sectional to lead a team and deliver diagnostic imaging across MRI, CT and X‑ray. You will rotate through modalities, ensure quality standards and mentor junior staff.

HCPC registered radiographers with a Diploma or Degree in Radiography, strong CPD, and excellent communication are essential. The role involves working under IR(ME)R regulations and contributing to audits and service improvements.

Qualifications

• Hold a diploma or degree in Radiography with a valid HCPC registration.
• Extensive post-qualification experience including MRI, CT and X-ray.
• Evidence of continuous professional development.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake MRI (including CMR), CT, and general X-ray activity as required.
• Act as an Operator under IR(ME)R and assess referral justification.
• Participate in quality improvements and audits.
• Mentor junior staff and deputise for the Lead Radiographer when required.
