Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital is seeking an experienced Senior Cross-Sectional Imaging Radiographer to join our Radiology team in Leeds. This permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours) offers the opportunity to work with a range of cutting-edge MRI and CT capabilities and to contribute to high-quality patient care within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• BSc Diagnostic Radiography degree and HCPC registration.
• Postgraduate CT or MRI qualification is preferred.
• Post-registration experience in cross-sectional imaging.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

• Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a very varied caseload, to include Cardiac MRI
• Working with leading practitioners and experiencing new practices, equipment and facilities.
• Supervising and developing more junior staff members.
• Providing a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
• Provide an out-of-hours CT on-call service

The Person

To succeed as an MRI/CT Radiographer you will have;

• High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail.
• A caring nature – to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.
• A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Ideally a postgraduate qualification in CT or MRI, but not essential.
• Post registration experience relevant to the role.
• Excellent communication and team working abilities.
